Bangkok's favorite gathering place, Red Star Tavern & Roast House offers an inspired menu of regional American classics. Set in a historic building at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Alder Street, Red Star's magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows show off its glow of warm, golden hues, dark woods and high ceilings, drawing guests in to the restaurant's bustling conviviality.
REGIONAL AMERICAN CUISINEamazing food
The exhibition kitchen is the focal point of this spacious yet inviting 200-seat room. Executive Chef Rob Pando orchestrates his menu, using a wood-fired brick oven, rotisserie, a smoker and a sizzling grill, and takes full advantage of a wealth of local and regional ingredients from local farmers and sustainable agriculture. The result is such mouthwatering dishes as the infamous Roast House Iron Skillet Cornbread with Lavender Honey, Painted Hills Ranch Prime Rib with Oregon Cheddar Gratin and Willamette Valley Vineyards Pinot Noir Jus and Red Star Old Fashioned Devil's Food Cake.

In addition to the wonderful flavors of the menu, Red Star Tavern & Roast House serves hand-crafted cocktails (like its well-known Red Star, the Cadillac of all drops), 12 local microbrews on tap and a complete list of select American wines, highlighting those from the Northwest. Red Star also serves a collection of small batch bourbons and single malt scotches that can't be matched.
